Attend an open forum of candidates for local legislative positions, including Marshall Public Schools school board, Lyon County commissioners, and Marshall city council. Questions for the candidates will be from the facilitators and from the audience. This event is hosted by the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce and will be recorded for broadcast on local radio and/or television.

The Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a forum for candidates for the City Council, Lyon County Commissioner and Marshall School Board races on Thursday, October 27th at the Marshall Lyon County Library.

School Board Candidates Jeff Chapman, Heather Anderson, Ann Marie Vorbach, Sara Brink, Sara Runchey, Ben Walker & Trudy Madetzke will participate in a panel beginning at 6:15 PM.

Lyon County Commissioner candidates, Charlie Sanow, Tom Andries, David Sturrock and Todd Draper will participate in the next panel at 7:00.

City Council candidates John Alcorn and See Mou-Leske will participate in a panel beginning at 7:30 PM.

A Media panel will pose questions to the candidates, including those submitted ahead of the event. The program will be broadcasted on Studio One, Marshall community access television and on KMHL Radio.

This event is open to the public. However, if you want to submit questions ahead of time, you may email questions to brad.gruhot@marshallmn.org.
