City of East Grand Forks issued the following announcement on Sept. 23.
The City of East Grand Forks will extend pickup of wet items removed from heavy rains.
The City of East Grand Forks will be picking up wet items off the curb starting September 23, 2019 and continue throughout the week. Wet items from the recent rains may be put to the curb and they will be picked up by Public Works.
The Upper Red River Valley Community Organization Active in Disasters (COAD), are putting together volunteers to assist in helping clean materials out of flooded basements. They can be contacted at 701-780-8213. See attached news release.
