City of Stephen issued the following announcement on March 17
The increased use of cleaning wipes during the COVID-19 outbreak is great for disease mitigation, but could potentially cause problems for our sanitary sewer system. The only things you should ever flush down a toilet are human waste and toilet paper. Even though some products such as wipes and baby diapers claim to be flushable, they aren't. Wipes and paper towels do not dissolve like toilet paper, which can clog your pipes and your neighborhood's pipes and even jam the city's sanitary sewer lift stations!
