Rep. Dan Fabian (R-Roseau) introduced seven bills that prioritize local issues before announcing his retirement in March.

The bills, which were introduced in February, include veterans' issues and wildlife management issues. Other bills tackled education issues and bonding.

“I am proud to introduce these bills that are so important to our area,” Fabian said in a press release. “First and foremost, I represent the people and priorities of our district, and these bills are ones that have been brought to me by my constituents. I look forward to supporting policies that are important to our area at the Capitol this year.”

Fabian announced his retirement on March 9.

“During the past nine years, I have had the great honor to represent the incredible people in District 1A," he said in a release. "It has been one of the most rewarding and enjoyable experiences in my life. The amazing support and new friendships of my constituents mean so much to me. The past few months I have been thinking about the future and in that, I have decided not to seek reelection in 2020."
