The State of Minnesota is doing an outstanding job of following social-distancing rules, according to a new report.
The report released by a tech company Unacast, gave the state an A for following best practices. That includes staying close to home and changing lifestyle patterns.
Minnesota was graded with a 46% drop in average distance traveled. Those that graded out to an A had a 40% drop.
Kare 11 News said the information to determine how states graded was based on analysis from GPS location data gathered from smartphones. The dated was used to find out how well residents in each state have practiced social distancing skills.
As of March 31, Minnesota had 19,780 completed tests with 629 testing positive and 288 no longer needing to be quarantined. The state has had 12 residents die due to COVID-19.
