66 percent of applicants to the University of Minnesota-Crookston were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Minnesota-Crookston, 71 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Crookston enrolled 2,810 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 10.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

70 percent of undergraduates are residents of Minnesota, and 25 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (51 percent) and Black or African American (4 percent).

The school admitted 66 percent of the 1,297 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 27 percent enrolled.
