Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Northland Community and Technical College

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Northland Community and Technical College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Minnesota students paid $5,549 to attend the two-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 87 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 189 students received grants or scholarships totaling $858,728 and 185 students took out student loans totaling more than $1 million.

Including all undergraduates (3,500), 1,574 students used grants or scholarships totaling $5.6 million, and 1,210 students took out $7.5 million in federal student loans.
