City of Fertile issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.
Because of Covid concerns there will be no program at the school this year. But our school administration still wants to recognize and honor our veterans.
Fertile-Beltrami School and community invites all veterans to ride in a vehicle in a motorcade thru town on Wednesday, November 11. The vehicles will start lining up by the Veterans Memorial.
At 1:00 p.m. a fire truck will lead the motorcade thru town.
Elementary students will line the sidewalks to wave and cheer for the veterans.
The motorcade will turn on Garfield Avenue and go past Fair Meadow Nursing Home and Assisted Living.
Please share this with all Veterans! Families if you can make sure to help your Veteran with a ride on Wednesday so they can be honored.
