Childcare Town Hall Meeting scheduled for Monday, April 25th starting at 6:30pm at the Spud Jr
The City is working with First Children's Finance on a Rural Child Care Innovation Program and will be hosting a town hall meeting on Monday, April 25th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the Spud Jr. in the Prohibition Room.
RCCIP is an innovative community engagement process designed to address the challenges of childcare in rural America. East Grand Forks has a shortage of childcare slots and a core team has been put together to lead the process of investigating why there is a shortage of care in the area. The East Grand Forks Town Hall meeting is the opportunity to develop solutions to address childcare challenges in our community. Childcare needs to be accessible, of high quality, and profitable for the childcare provider. As a community, we can work together to make this a reality.
The East Grand Forks Town Hall event is on April 25th, 2022 from 6:30-9:30pm at The Spud Jr / Prohibition Room. This will be a great opportunity for us to share the results of the childcare surveys that have been circulating and discuss the opportunities and challenges with childcare.
