City Of Mahnomen issued the following announcement on Apr. 27.
The City of Mahnomen will be celebrating Arbor Day along with the Arbor Day Foundation by several events this year. Due to the late winter weather affecting our state we will plant a tree on April 29th at the Children's Mini Park downtown Mahnomen, the tree planting will take place at 10 AM and if you would like to participate please come on over and join us in starting a new tree life in our city!
Later when the weather warms up we will be helping the Mahnomen public school kids plant in their garden beds, and we will also be helping St Mikes Catholic school plant around the beloved Mary Statute, again everyone is welcome to participate event dates and times will be forth-coming!
