County Of Mahnomen issued the following announcement on Jul 30.
Due to staffing, the county motor vehicle /DVS office will be temporarily closed as of Aug 1st until new staff can be hired and trained to manage the office. The County board has committed to keeping a local office, but it will take some time to hire and train staff. Likely, staff will have to train in other regional offices for a time to gain experience.
If you are interested or have DMV experience and would like to apply to be the county Deputy Registrar, stop by the Auditor’s office for an application packet or visit the county website. Experience preferred, but a great attitude, customer service skills and a willingness to learn required. Position open until filled.
