A Red Cross blood drive will be held at the Marshall library on Thursday, September 22 from 1 pm to 7 pm.
Additional safety protocols may be in place for your protection. Check before you leave for your appointment.
Please call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html and enter LyonCL to schedule an appointment. You can also search for our blood drive through the Red Cross Blood Donor App.
If you haven’t donated before or aren’t sure if you’re eligible, the Red Cross has some helpful information: https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/how-to-donate/common-concerns.html
Not able or ready to be a donor? We’re also looking for a few volunteers to staff the event. Please contact the library if you’re interested in helping.
If you have a printer or a mobile device available, we recommend completing a Rapid Pass to speed up your visit. Completing the Rapid Pass online before your visit allows you to read the educational material and complete the questionnaire before you arrive at the library. To use Rapid Pass, visit https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/manage-my-donations/rapidpass.html on the day of the drive and email or print the barcode of your completed pass to bring with you.
Don’t forget to drink plenty of water, get a good night’s sleep, and eat a good meal prior to donating!
