October 6 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
It’s a party 150 years in the making for a book 150 years in the making as The Independent proudly unveils “The Sesquicentennial: Cultivating 150 Years of History in Marshall and Lyon County.”
From 6-8 p.m. at the Marshall-Lyon County Library, the event will include select readings from the people who worked on the book, former editors and local dignitaries, as well as an auction for the first 10 copies of this limited edition book, with proceeds benefiting the Lyon County Historical Society. A limited number of books will also be available for sale at $49.95 each (cash or check only) and to be picked up if pre-ordered.
