Teen Tabletop Gaming (Hybrid) | Marshall-Lyon County Library
Teen Tabletop Gaming (Hybrid) | Marshall-Lyon County Library
December 27 @ 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Teen Tabletop Gaming will be meeting virtually and in the community room! Attend whichever way is most convenient for you. In nice weather, we might also head outside to the courtyard!
For those joining us online: we’re using Discord, a free voice and chat service that lets you create private servers. You can use it right in your browser without installing anything. You can also install it on a computer or use the app on a tablet or smartphone. You will need to sign up for an account with a valid email address before you can use it. The chat server will be moderated by a librarian. Parents, you can learn more about discord here. Please email Emilirose (emilirose.rasmusson@marshalllyonlibrary.org) or contact Emilirose #6886 on Discord for a link to the server.
We usually play the 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons. We also spend a lot of time chatting, collaborating on video games, and getting our characters ready. The online voice chat will be available at around 3:20 pm. We start playing when enough players have arrived, and we’ll be done by around 6 pm. It’s okay if you have to leave early.
Adult players: this event is specifically for teens and preteens. Looking for a group? Email Emilirose (emilirose.rasmusson@marshalllyonlibrary.org) to be added to our list of local players looking for a party! You can also join the SWMN Tabletop RPG discord server to meet with other local players.
