Q4 2022: Three registered sex offenders living in Pennington County

There was one more registered sex offender living in Pennington County in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There are three sex offenders registered in Pennington County in the fourth quarter of 2022, compared to two the quarter before.

The Registry shows none of these sex offenders are sexual predators. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Bruyere used bribery, his position of authority, and took advantage of victim's vulnerable state to gain compliance. Bruyere also possessed pornographic images of other female children.
Todd Joshua SorensonCriminal sexual conduct in the third degreeTodd Sorenson engaged in sexual contact with a known female teenager. Contact included penetration. Sorenson provided teenager with alcohol before the offense. Sorenson also exposed himself to three unknown females.
Mark Gorman BeitoCriminal sexual conduct in the third degreeMark Beito (at age 18) engaged in sexual contact with an unknown female teen. Contact included penetration. Beito took advantage of her vulnerable state to gain compliance.
