9% of Mahnomen County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Mahnomen County recorded an unemployment rate of 9% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 202 people out of the 5,429 living in Mahnomen County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Mahnomen County has remained fairly stable compared to the 9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Mahnomen County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
