The Registry shows 2 sex offenders living in Polk County as of Q4 2023

There was the same number of registered sex offenders living in Polk County as of the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to the previous quarter, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There were two sex offenders registered in Polk County as of the fourth quarter of 2023.

The Registry shows one of these sex offender is sexual predator. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Conduct included sexually explicit online communication and asking victim for sexual contact. Woolsey coerced and enabled the victim to leave her home without parental permission and harbored her in his home. Woolsey also provided her drugs and alcohol. Woolsey gained access to the victim by meeting her online and arranging to meet in person.
Lonny Jerome CoteCriminal sexual conduct in the first degree, criminal sexual conduct in the second degree, criminal sexual conduct in the third degree, criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degreeOffender has a history of sexual contact with minor female victims (age 4-14). Contact included sexual touching and penetration. Offender provided alcohol to at least one victim. Offender was known to victims.
