The Registry shows two sex offenders living in Mahnomen County in March

There was the same number of registered sex offenders living in Mahnomen County in March compared to the previous month, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There are two sex offenders registered in Mahnomen County in March.

The Registry shows none of these sex offenders are sexual predators. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Buckanaga gained access by approaching the victim in a public place and asking to use her phone. Once isolated, force was used to gain control.
Joseph Terrance BrownCriminal sexual conduct in the fourth degreeJoseph Brown engaged in sexual contact with a known teenage female. Contact included sexual touching and penetration.
