Number of sex offenders living in Marshall County remains at 4 in Q1

The population of registered sex offenders in Marshall County remained unchanged from first quarter of 2024 to fourth quarter of 2023, with 4 offenders residing in the area, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

The Registry shows one of these sex offender is sexual predator. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances of re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Conduct included ordering victim to touch herself in a sexual manner. Contact included sexual touching. Offender gained compliance through use of a weapon. Offender gained access to victim by entering her home without permission and taking advantage of her sleeping state. Offender was known to victim. Offender also has a history of voyeurism.
