Win-E-Mac Elementary School issued the following announcement on Feb. 04.

The Career and Technical Education programs at Win-E-Mac recently were able to purchase items though a grant made available via the Carl Perkins Fund.

Items included: 2-Brother Scan and Cuts, 2-computers, a vinyl press with a multitude of attachments, a screen printer, screens, a washout booth, dryers, along with other pieces of equipment.

In a collaborative process, students from Mrs. Anderson’s, Mr. Johnson’s, and Mr. Morgenroth’s classes have designed workspaces, assembled equipment, created designs, and manufactured products during their respective time frames.

We are excited with the ownership the students have taken in learning and implementing these processes in making products. In the future, we hope to build up an inventory of products that can be purchased at a school store or to be sold online through our website.
