CITY OF EAST GRAND FORKS: Open House To Share Information And Receive Feedback On Future Planning For City Recreation Facilities

City of East Grand Forks issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.

The City of East Grand Forks and its Parks & Recreation Department are hosting an open house to share information and receive feedback on future planning for our city recreation facilities. Four projects are currently being considered forimprovements, to be funded by a Local Sales Tax. At this informational meeting, you’ll be able to receive information on current plans, how it could be funded through a local voter approved Sales Tax, and provide input in what you’d like to see from these projects.

We will be sharing information and asking for input

and feedback on the following projects:

* Civic Center improvements and expansion include a 2nd ice sheet

* VFW Arena conversion to Wellness Center

* LaFave Park repair and improvements

* Ball field improvements

* Greenway Trail improvements

Representatives from the City of East Grand Forks will be available to answer your questions.

Stop by the Civic Center anytime on Thursday, February 20th between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. There will be no formal presentation.
