City of East Grand Forks issued the following announcement on April 9.
The City has been awarded a certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting for the 2018 Comprehensive Annual Finance Report. This is this highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
This award is from the Government of Finance Officers Association (GFOA). The comprehensive annual finance report was reviewed by an impartial panel and was found it met high standards of the program and demonstrates a constructive spirit of full disclosure to clearly communicate the financial information.
