City of East Grand Forks issued the following announcement on April 24.
As of April 21st portions of the Greenway trails in East Grand Forks are open for use. All upper trails that are dry and clear of debris are open for use. There are portions of trails still under water or are covered with debris remain closed.
The pedestrian bridges remain closed until further notice and the boat ramps remain closed until river levels fall below the 28 foot flood stage level. As river levels drop staff will be working on cleaning and inspecting the trails, pedestrian bridges, and boat ramps before these areas are reopened for public use.
