City of East Grand Forks issued the following announcement on Dec. 16.
The annual MS4 storm water meeting has been set for Thursday, December 19th from 12:30pm to 3:00pm in the Training room located at City Hall on the first floor in the south wing.
Everyone is invited to attend an informational meeting to learn and inquire about the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) program. Staff will give an overview of actions being taken and educational efforts being done to comply with the requirements of the City's MS4 permit as required by the State of Minnesota. An interactive demonstration of how the Storm Water Department is utilizing GIS to track and document illicit discharge, citizen reports, sewer backups, and other important aspects of pollution prevention will also be provided.
