Democratic incumbent Kent Eken has won his re-election bid for Senate District 4, defeating Republican opponent Mark Larson.
Eken took to Facebook to express his gratitude to all who cast their votes in support of his campaign..
“I am honored to continue to represent this region alongside Representative Paul Marquart and our new 4A house member Representative Heather Keeler,'' Eken wrote. “This was truly a team effort and I am so thankful for everyone who cast their votes of support,” he added.
Eken represented House District 2A between 2003 and 2013.
